Cars in Germany's City Discovered Covered with Swastikas in Human Blood, Law Enforcement State

Police mentioned they were contacted by a man who noticed a automobile in Hanau marked with reddish liquid

Around 50 automobiles have been covered with what seems to be blood from a person in the German town of Hanau near Frankfurt, as reported by police.

Automobiles, exterior walls and mailboxes were defaced, sometimes with Nazi symbols, they announced in a release.

Law enforcement report they were contacted in the late hours on Wednesday night, when a resident noticed that a automobile in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been smeared with a reddish-hued substance.

The liquid had been placed in the form of a banned symbol, they stated.

Law enforcement then discovered numerous other smeared cars and building exteriors in the nearby vicinity.

Nazi symbols are prohibited in Germany under laws banning the public display of Nazi symbols.

Officials report preliminary tests suggest the fluid was probably human bodily fluid.

"Currently there is no lead as to its origin; officials are currently not aware of any injuries in association with the incident," they added.

Municipal representatives said they were attempting "to unravel the mystery" and have asked to the public for tips.

An important representative stated the vandalism left him without words and had to be addressed promptly.

"This incident strikes at the very heart of Hanau and reawakens the pain of the extremist terrorist attack in 2020," he posted on social media, recalling the death of nine people by a shooter focusing on residents of immigrant origin in 2020.
